Giving the keys to someone else can be difficult because you are unsure if you will actually get better or not. You may be thinking it is easier to get a 30$ gym membership and do it all yourself. If thats you, I have a question for you. If you had to pay $1,000 a month (which is 7x more then our remote training costs) for your training, KNOWING that you will get better and that you WILL get your college paid for. Would you do it? WHAT MAKES A GOOD REMOTE TRAINEE?
A good remote trainee is disciplined and self-motivated. They handle their business in a timely manner and are expected to have a high attention to detail. i.e. reading exercise notes/descriptions and watching the videos in detail prior to their training session. If you are training remotely, you won’t have a coach cueing you in the moment or changing exercises on the fly due to circumstance ‘in the moment’.

So, a good remote trainee is expected to submit videos of them training for coaching feedback and be in communication with their strength coach. This way, if exercises need changed or if the athlete has questions, we can get back to them in a timely manner. Our remote strength coaches typically respond with coaching feedback within a 48-hour time frame (often sooner than that) and are not required to work on Sunday’s or holidays.

What happens once I purchase my remote training package?
- You will receive an email from our coaching software asking you to create your account. From there you will be able to communicate with your coach and begin the assessment process! Please allow up to 6-8 hours to receive our email.
How old does someone need to be in order to participate in remote training?
- Remote training isn’t for everyone. Because of the dedication and attention to detail needed to get the most out of the training, we highly recommend 14 years or older to start.
Does OPP work with female athletes?
- YES! We have worked with several female athletes.
